The Palisade Preservation Society presents its distinctive Nevada book fair, a seasonal celebration featuring 61 of the region's most celebrated writers and their latest books. There is no admission for the event, and during this year's party the museum galleries will also be open and free of charge. PPS members receive a discount on all book purchases. The Palisade Preservation Society Welcomes Samuel L. Bronkowitz
PPS is proud to annouce that Samuel L. Bronkowitz, one of the nation's most prominent historical society directors, has been named Executive Director of the Palisade Preservation Society, effective November 20. Dr. Bronkowitz has been director and CEO for three major historical organizations, and is a former President of the American Association for State and Local History. Son of the fame Palisadean photographer Joseph A. Bugoff, Joseph Bugoff Jr. continued his father's work documented American stories throughout the 20th Century. PPS proudly offers this look through the hsitorical lens for limited time, from November 18th 2006 through January 28th 2007.
